How to Join Our U3A

If you want to join us, just come along to a monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of the month and you can join on the spot! If you can't make it to the COWSHACC please email our Membership Secretary                                

CRITERIA

The only qualification for membership is that you should have ceased full-time paid work. You are welcome regardless of your sex, religion, politics, ethnic origins, or disability. There is a lower age limit of 16 but no upper age limit.

COST

The annual subscription for full membership is currently £18 for the year from April to March. There is a reduction to the full membership subscription to £11 if you join part way through the year from November through until February. For members joining in March membership will include the following year.

Membership subscriptions cover the hire of the hall, admin. expenses and speakers' fees and expenses plus capitation to the national organisation (the Third Age Trust which provides loads of support plus appropriate insurance cover).

The Interest Groups are self-funding and must pay for their own expenses, materials and trips.

If you just want to come along for a taster of our monthly Wednesday meetings, this is free.

You cannot join an interest group separately from the u3a as a whole – you must have paid your annual subscription first.
