The Book Club is a long-standing u3a group that is currently at around maximum capacity. However we may still be able to welcome new members or we may endeavour to get a second Book Club off the ground. 

Every month we read and discuss a book chosen by one of the group; members can suggest any book that they have enjoyed if they think others might enjoy it too. We read all sorts of fiction, from crime to classics and also some non-fiction, such as memoirs and biography. It is always interesting to find out the different ways in which we respond to the same stories or characters. 

We have held meetings at venues in Welshpool and in each other’s homes.

Venues may vary in future to suit the needs of the group.
